ten foods you will always find in my home.

I find that regardless of the variation of plant based foods I eat, I always eat the following ten foods every single week.  Yes, I will eat a lot more then this obviously but when I grocery shop, these ten foods always make into my cart! 

And for those of you asking about my diet (aka food lifestyle) I am adopting, it is a combination of Deliciously Ella's diet 'philosophy' & the Engine2 Diet. And I am loving the new perspective & approach to nourishing myself with juicy & delish foods! My mindset has shifted drastically with this approach to food!

  1. Deliciously Ella's Raw Chocolate Brownies - I make a batch every Sunday & freeze them.  These are my 'go to' when I get any type of sweet craving. You can learn about the health benefits here.
  2. Organic Spinach makes it into my routine morning smoothie every single day, Monday through Friday! Saturdays & Sundays, I do not follow my weekly routine but that's another post (0:
  3. Swiss Chard.  I now use chard to make veggie wraps & I use the leaves as the 'buns' to my homemade quinoa burgers. Recipe coming soon!
  4. Vega Vanilla Protein Powder makes into my morning smoothie SIX days a week - every single week!
  5. Raw Almonds sprinkled w/ sea salt satisfy my hunger cravings between meals.
  6. Organic Tomatoes.  I put tomatoes on and in almost all of my lunch & dinner options.
  7. Justin's Almond Butter spread onto Ezekiel Bread as a snack or I put a tablespoon in a smoothie.
  8. Hummus.  What person doesn't love hummus?! I love hummus w/ celery & carrots!
  9. Almond Milk.  I make my own every Sunday and it lasts me until Friday.
  10. Finally, I eat Amy's Organic Lentil soup at least two nights every single week.

So there you have it! I also love & purchase a host of other delicious fruits (blueberries & pears are my favorite), veggies (I eat them all), grains (I make batches of quinoa), nuts & seeds!  I also love juicing! I love this post idea, I may steal it! :)

I buy apples, bananas, celery, carrots, onions, broth, almond milk, string cheese, eggs an Greek yogurt every single week!
