I know that many of you are going to be traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday & thought I would share some of my ideas (shown above) for healthy snacks for the road (or flight)!
Preparing a container of primarily plant based snacks is not only going to satisfy your hunger until you arrive at your family or friends home but it's also going to give you an alkalizing energy boost prior to the holiday feasting you may or may not be doing (we all will be doing)! I typically take a large container and fill it with any or all of the following:
And that's really it! I throw my container in my tote and off I go! I love taking care of my body and I need no further convincing that eating an alkalizing diet is the best decision I can possibly make. Be good to your body this holiday season! What are your ideas for healthy snacks on the road?
