Hi everyone. I am not feeling well today so, I just want to share a stream of thoughts on the power of organic greens in my own life & then provide you with the most resourceful links to learn about 'why' juicing and eating greens has the ability to change your life in so many wonderfully powerful ways.

Let me first share this: I do not believe that food heals alone.
I don't.  Yep, just my opinion & I know a lot of you will disagree. I think healing the body requires a combination of a number of factors such as lifestyle, monitoring stress, healthy relationships, routine exercise, our 'thought' life is critical, our faith, etc.

I DO believe that food is the cornerstone to healing or creating disease so, what we eat is at the core of health & healing
.  People are healing from all varieties of cancers, MS, Lupus, Lyme's, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, POTS Syndrome (check out Ella Woodward's story), etc. when consistently consuming whole plant based foods. The evidence is staggering. Just ask Kris Carr!

I have been eating 'primarily' plant based since 2011.  Initially I was a total junk food eating vegan.  The entire vegan community opened my eyes to this other world out there (well, it felt like another world) of compassionate 'groups' from animal activists to wellness consultants, etc. And I thought I was healthy.  I laugh now b/c I was consuming so much crap - yeah, vegan junk.  And my progression of eating fully healthy has been slow even though I don't care to admit that (b/c I was so educated on the topic).

I am now gaining momentum in consuming primarily organic-unprocessed-plant based foods about 85% of my meals each week - pretty good. And about 15% of the time, I eat vegetarian & not so healthy.  And rather then focus on judging myself, I encourage 'me' to keep at the greens! And the more love I provide myself, the more that 85% will increase.

Recently, I have been experiencing first hand the healing power of greens and green juice. And once you actually 'feel' differently, you want to eat/drink more and more greens. It's such an energy source and just amazing. I am starting to really 'get it' b/c my body is responding.  And when I eat badly (like last night), I wake up feeling well, pretty badly. Pretty simple logic as to what my next meal should be.

When I drink the Apple & Parsley elixir from Jus Juus in Wicker Park, within minutes, I can feel the dizziness I typically feel, evaporate. I am immediately hydrated and feeling more energetic. This is a true story... I avoided an ER visit when I was just really sick by drinking a large Apple/Parsley elixir. Think about that. I was actually blown away b/c I was able to get home, into bed and rest vs. sitting at the ER for hours, pay hundreds of dollars and get poked w/ needles. This is hugeee.  It's one thing to talk, read or watch a documentary on how healthy eating plant based foods is but it's an entirely different scenario when you actually experience it for yourself.  And you no longer have to 'shift ' perspective because your perspective just changes like 'that' - a snap of the fingers - and all those years of learning become present well, evidence.

I strongly urge my readers to check out the links below.  And I encourage all of you to add organic greens to each meal every single day.  I promise you that you will FEEL the difference. And if you really want to love that body of yours, head over to Jus Juus and get the Apple/Parsley elixir & The Hulk (I always get both now).

Be good to your body. Love your body like you love your child or the most lovable person in your life if you don't have kids.  Adore yourself. Nurture yourself.  Speak so gently & sweetly to yourself.  And turn UP the greens!
