The month of December is an absolute sugar -tsunami. It's easy to get swept up in all of the toxic foods and yet, they leave you feeling completely ill or at least lethargic. Once you begin eating unprocessed organic foods from the earth, your entire body changes on a cellular level. You begin to crave healthy organic whole foods. You also quickly 'feel' the difference when you indulge in say, cookies, donuts or a processed meal. I recall the last time I ate a donut, I felt this film inside my mouth after eating it. It was an actual film along the roof of my mouth and gums. And I felt sick to my stomach within 15 minutes afterwards. I mean, sick. So I wanted to share a super easy idea for 'Edamame Pasta'! It's a simple, clean (protein packed) and detoxifying dish for lunch or dinner! And you can make your own variaion in approximately 10 minutes! Edamame Pasta Gluten Free Noodles of your choice (bring to a boil and set aside once softened). A large varity of chopped organic veggies of your choice. Organic steamed spinach Steam Edamame and remove the shells. Combine all of the above Add seasonings of your choice w/ a sprinkle of sea salt. Drizzle lemon, olive oil and apple cidar vinegar This dish is always a crowd pleaser in my home. And it can be served with a large variety of options. I tend to serve with a crispy gluten free rye bread. Bon Appetit!! Comments are closed.
